Here in Colorado we’ve been having some uncharacteristically cool nights (which is a-ok with me since I’m 9 months pregnant without AC). As much as I love being able to go barefoot and all of the yummy berries that summer brings – I have to say I’m loving this crisp morning air.
I’m testing out a new series: a monthly color palette!
This one is a bit brighter than I normally tend to, but hey…I must be excited for summer :)
Lately I’ve been getting a lot of requests from logo design clients to also create a custom color palette so I thought this would not only be fun, but a great way for you to get inspired and swipe ideas.
Last month I started a new monthly series with mood board inspiration. If you missed it, go check out that first mood board and here about my inspiration and intentions for the series.
This month I thought I’d do an all gold mood board. One, because gold is amazing. And two, because over the past few years I’ve found a lot of branding clients wanting to infuse more gold into their overall style.
Are you feeling like a re-brand might be calling your name?
Sometimes it’s hard to know if you truly will benefit from a re-brand right now or if you just have a case of Shiny Object Syndrome. Below are 5 signs you really should invest time and energy in a re-brand.

What is a brand style guide?
A brand style guide is a quick reference visual guide that communicates not only the look and feel of your brand, but also provides basic specifications for your brand assets (logo, colors, fonts, patterns).
